Beginner Guitar Songs

Sometimes a song gets a large buzz on the internet before it actually gets released, and the new single from Lifehouse – Halfway Gone, is one of those songs.

The way the song is setup is a great riff for beginner guitarists and it is always nice to stay on top any current music that you can play for yourself or your friends.

With a little bit of effort this should be one those songs that you should pick up easy, but everybody learns at a different pace, and learning to play guitar takes some time, so do not be upset if takes a few times to get a feel for a song, this is the norm for most guitarists.

The chord structure of C#minor – A – E – B is nothing new for the music industry, songs like Message in the Bottle by the Police and More Than A Feeling by Boston are two songs that come into my head, but just because you use a much used guitar riff does not mean that you can not put your own twist on it, and that is what Lifehouse did with this song.
